Frank Doody

Frank has become a well-known and established Bluegrass artist across Canada and Europe. His love and energy for the music is very apparent whenever he performs on or off stage. Not only is he known as a tremendous banjo player but also as a capable singer and songwriter. Throughout the years Frank has been able to note some great achievements. These include being the first Canadian Bluegrass artist to perform on CD and being able to perform with some of the world's Topflight Bluegrass artists. Some of the more recent projects that Frank has contributed to are: Mando Monsters, Decade Later, and Back Against the Wind, all with well-known local artist Ray Legere. Other projects include Angels Rejoice, an album that was recorded live in Holland in memory of Joe Val and Aragon Mill, recorded with White Mountain Bluegrass.

Bluegrass Music

Is Alive and Well in Canada.

Jean-Marc Doiron is one of the finest Bluegrass voices in the World. The control and feeling in his voice is a strong part of this UNIT'S sound.

Ron Savoie with his great contributions on mandolin, fiddle and guitar adds a wonderful lead, tenor, and baritone to this well-rounded band.

Lee Alward had been involved in Bluegrass music for many years. Along with being a great MC and vocalist, he plays acoustic bass for the C.G.U.

Frank Doody rounds off the band with banjo, dobro, vocals and song writing.
